Setting up a data collection system to chart student progress that is easy. This presentation will review the stages of learning as it directly relates to intervals for data collection and methods to document the learning itself through pictures, sound and video. In addition I can show how to incorporate technology for lesson plan components to make the content relevant to to classroom and students with very little effort using apps such as KSL weather. I also have started using a Go Pro camera system for science and communication to teach perspective.
I will let the attendees have a chance to practice a little with each device and if time is available to create a simple lesson that would use the device to either provide information or data collection
