Smartboard Training Series – Session 1 of 5
This is the very basics of using a Smart Board and Smart Notebook (Smartboard software). This covers the basics of how to plug it in, turn it on, use the basics of the board including basics of the software, and how to find lessons other teachers have created. This session is part of a 5 part series on Smart Notebook software for Smartboards. Check out all the sessions to see which concepts are taught in each. You will learn strategies for integrating those tools into your curriculum. Bring your own laptop with the software installed if you would like to follow along. This is gets into the basics of Smart Response. You will learn the basics as well as how to insert a question, insert a title page, use instant questions, use existing paper test with Smart Response, deliver your questions with Smart Response, and briefly look at the results. This session is part of a 2 part series on Smart Response (clickers) within Notebook software (also for Smartboards). Check out both sessions to see which concepts are taught in each. SMART Camera & Other Tools
The SMART Document Camera™ offers a convenient way to display and explore images of objects anytime without losing the momentum of a lesson. The document camera works with SMART Notebook and allows the teacher to capture images and instantly add them to a SMART Notebook page. The SMART Document Camera works with SMART's education-specific mixed reality content. Incorporating mixed reality (3D, animated and audio-enriched content) into your lessons will be easy and seamless. This will be a beginners course on how to immerse the students in a rich 3D world by virtually connecting physical objects with 3D content in SMART Notebook.
